Cheating???

So today while at the store I was looking at fabric and  different pattern's and it hit me.... I dont know how to read a pattern! What was I doing looking at them!!! I was SOOO lost! And how do I make sure it would fit my growing belly?!( I was looking at a broomstick tipe skirt)

BUT while looking I found a Cheat??? maybe??? is it cheating hehehe? you tell me! I figured it would be a start right?
So what it is, is just one piece of fabric, with instructions
printed right on the fabric.

So is it Cheating?  I dont thing so. Baby steps :)

I will post more on it as start on it tomorrow or friday. Im looking forward to it!!! Oh and I will have picture up of my first bag that I sewed all by myself :)

Oh no....

Her I am, 27 and a half weeks along in my pregnancy, and you know what that means.....BLOOD WORK!!!
Tomorrow I go in to get my blood glucose test :S it is now a 3!!! yes 3 hour test and they upped the amount of REALLY bad tasting gunk that you have to drink! Im a totall baby when it comes to getting blood taken, which is very funny because I used to give blood! But all of a sudden one day while giving blood I had a panic attack and ever since then I have had a hard time going to the doctor. Very strange I know! But I just have to pray that God will give me strength and I know I will be ok.

In good news, my Husband and I had our first Childbirth/parenting class last night! I think that Dan was a little worried at first about the whole video of someother lady giving birth and having to talk to new people about it! :) But we got out and he admitted that it "really wasn't that bad". I on the other hand LOVED it. I love talking about birth and how amazing it is. One of God's great gifts as I have said before! I really felt silly though because during the video I wanted to Cry when the mothers got to hold the babies for the first time. Its coming SO fast and we cant wait to meet our little man :D! We are so blessed to be able to take these classes and I cant wait for next week!

I love this!

2 Corinthians 4:17 NLT
For our present troubles are small and won't last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!

Have Faith! I love how the Bible can speek right to my heart when I need the help the most!

Have a Great Day!!!

Sewing time!

Here She is!!!
My Elnasuper* and the desk that goes with it!
My husbands great grandmothers sewing machine.

Here is the 70's stool that goes with my desk! <3

A big thanks to Girl Willow and her mom, today I had my first sewing lesson!!! It was wonderful! I started out not even knowing how to do...well ANYTHING, to making my first project! The sewing machine is pretty old and touchy, it took us a while to get everything figured out, but once we did it was smooth sailing, or should I say smooth sewing!
The girls started me off with a small project, a bag I think I will use to take all my stuff to Bible study!

The First seam I made on my bag! Done look to hard :o)

The bottom of my bag all done and turned inside out!

A little crooked, but the start of my strap, trying a new stitch
Allllllll the way down! I did it!

And stitched it to the bag! We added a little
knot on the end for fun!
FINISHED!!!

For my first project since I was little, Im pretty happy with how it came out! not sure how long it took me but hey, its a start!
(Tonight when I got home, I started sewing a bigger beach bag. With LACE!)
(Soon to come!)

Day in the Country

Yesterday my Husband and I went back out to the Ranch to help my in-laws mark lambs! I love the sheep, they are so fun to watch and the little lambs can be quite funny. We also went out to the Ranch to bring home my husbands Great Grandmothers sewing machine that I will show later!!!

I love having a day with the Pride boys! Having my husband, his Father, and brother all together in itself can me quite funny while trying to do a project. But  I love all three of them and we always have a great day! To bad Momma Lorri (my mother-in-law) had to work :(.

When I say we were marking lambs, what I mean is, we ear tag them for so that we can I.D. them, give them their shots, rubber band the tails, and if a male lamb (a buck lamb) we rubberband the boy parts too! Each one of the boys has a job. My husband usually hold the lamb so that we can get done all that needs to happen, Brother Logan (my brother-in-law) is in charge of the ear tagging (I.D.), and my Father-in-law gives the shots and does the rubber banding! Sorry no Cool name for my father-in-law, just Daryl hehe. So here we go!
From long tails to short

Sorting out the 6 little lambs

The 6 little guys and gals

My wonderful Husband Daniel
All done! back with the Ewes!
And out to the field they goooo!

Because the Ewe's lamb at different times we have to mark lambs in groups. I hope you liked this look into the country! Later on in the year, well after the new year, I will have pictures of branding cows!

P.S.

Baby Cade ( our son) Is moving so much lately! My husband has got to feel him more and more. I love that feeling in my belly and I know that Im going to miss it, but I cant wait to meet our little one!

For the theme of Little Cade's bedroom we picked Elephants, wonder blue and esspresso. Being that we just moved I have been feeling the "Nesting" need even more!Or as I like to call it Nesting overload. Its hard to get settled into the new house and get all of the decorations up in all of the rooms, while my husband is at work (he works 10&4's, which means working 10 days then getting 4 off). So this weekend is "Curb my nesting weekend" on my husbands days off.
Getting the babies room ready is something that I have been feeling the need to do ALSO, but that's hard to do because we are only 26 weeks pregnant and haven't had our baby shower yet. But the need is there and SO strong. Praying that the Lord will easy my feeling, knowing that we can only do so much with the time that we have.

So the Count down to Cade is 26 weeks and 4days pregnant. Around 92 days left!
